Biography

Suffering an injury can leave people with serious concerns about their future. Mark A. Lee advocates on behalf of the injured and disabled in the Tampa Bay area – ranging from as far North as Citrus County – South to Sarasota County. He began his legal career working as a paralegal assisting on injury cases from 2004 through 2011. During that time, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida. He attended the University of Tulsa College of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor and a Health Law Certificate, by focusing his education on areas germane to Health Care. He has been practicing since 2014 and has earned a reputation for aggressive, yet compassionate and thorough representation. He has earned the following distinctions:

  • Named a Super Lawyers Rising Star 2016 – 2024
  • Million Dollar Advocates Forum®, Member, The Top Trial Lawyers in America®
  • Avvo “Excellent” rating
  • Florida Trend’s Legal Elite 2021

Mr. Lee takes the time to understand a client’s circumstances before creating a customized strategy to secure benefits, dispute a denial or appear in a hearing. Additionally, he is available to clients to answer their questions and provide advice when they need it the most.

One of the reasons Mr. Lee is able to provide exceptional service is because of his commitment to his practice. A resourceful attorney, he benefits from his memberships with groups such as The Florida Workers Advocates, Florida Bar’s Workers’ Compensation Section, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives (NOSSCR). He has served as an at-large board member for the Florida Workers’ Advocates since 2015. He is active in the local Tampa Bay Workers’ Compensation Inns of Court.

Mr. Lee is also dedicated to volunteering his time to serve the community. In the past, he has volunteered with Iron Gate of Tulsa, Volunteers of America, Metropolitan Ministries, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. He is currently a regular volunteer judge with the Hillsborough County Teen Court program.
